Postal Administration.

successful new issue dealer in Germany,
was purchased by the Bundesruckerei thus

At
the time of its founding, it emerged from
two printing houses, which united under
Postmaster General Heinrich Von Stephan.
The "Konigliche Oberhofbuchdruckerei
Von Decker" (Royal Court Printing House
of Von Decker) and the "Koniglich-Preussische
Staatsdruckerei (Royal Prussian State Printing
House). Both enterprises had already carried
out work for the official authorities.
By the end of World War II,
nearly half of the Reichsdruckei had been
destroyed and its activities brought to
a standstill. What remained was placed at
the disposal of the municipal authorities
of Greater Berlin who continued to operate
it under the name of the "Staatsdruckerei",
or State Printing Office. In 1951, the Staatsdruckerei
became a matter of federal administration
under the name "Bundesdruckerei".
